Chelsea FC is set to put the USDC logo on its team shirts in a sponsorship arrangement that would run for one year with an option to extend, marking what would be one of the most prominent crypto-branded kit deals in English football.
Chelsea’s shirt sponsor saga
Chelsea has been cycling through front-of-shirt sponsors since its long-term deal with telecommunications company Three ended after the 2022-23 season. Since then, the club has relied on a series of short-term arrangements. Infinite Athlete occupied the prime real estate during the 2023-24 campaign. DAMAC Properties stepped in during the final weeks of the 2024-25 season. And IFS picked up the baton for the remainder of 2025-26.
Chelsea has reportedly been seeking a front-of-shirt sponsorship valued between £45 million and £65 million per season.
