Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet will star the new series The Unheard.
Netflix announced Wednesday that Winslet and Maxine Peake have landed the lead roles in the thriller from Adolescence co-creator and writer Jack Thorne.
Winslet and Peake will play sisters "who find themselves on the run after a revenge plot goes sideways."
"As they are desperately pursued, questions remain: What pushed them to this reckless act? And was it ever their intention to get away with it?" an official description reads.
