According to the platform, the project was facilitated by Hon. Pally Iriase and subsequently tracked by Tracka, which reported that the Town Hall had been “ABANDONED.”

Socio-accountability platform, MonItng , has called on the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and the Federal Ministry of Water Resources to investigate the reappearance of an allegedly abandoned Town Hall project in Edo State in the 2025 Federal Government Budget.

MonITNG said the project, located at Eme-Ora in Owan West Local Government Area of Edo State, was initially captured in the 2018 Federal Government’s Zonal Intervention Project budget with an allocation of ₦40 million.

According to the platform, the project was facilitated by Hon. Pally Iriase and subsequently tracked by Tracka, which reported that the Town Hall had been “ABANDONED.”

However, it said the same project resurfaced seven years later in the 2025 Federal Government Budget, raising questions over the utilisation of the initial allocation and the decision to make another provision for the project.
