A civic technology organisation, MonITNG, has demanded that Senator Adams Oshiomhole account for two Federal Government projects worth ₦675 million in Edo North Senatorial District of Edo State, including an allegedly abandoned ₦125 million classroom project and a ₦550 million transformer project involving 11 transformers whose locations and installation remain unclear.
The organisation said its tracking of the projects revealed serious questions about transparency, project execution and the use of public funds, including an allegedly abandoned classroom project and the whereabouts of 11 transformers reportedly procured for communities across the district.
In a report released on the projects, MonITNG said it tracked the two Federal Government projects in Edo North and found discrepancies that require urgent investigation.
According to MonITNG, the first project, Code ERGP20260482, involves the construction of blocks of classrooms at Anglican Grammar School, Igarra, in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of the state.
