The week’s first session on the Athens Stock Exchange was marked by limited movement in stock prices and low turnover.

The General Index closed at 2,632.17, 0.08% lower, having swayed between +0.25% and -0.21% throughout the session. Turnover was €177.67 million on just over 20 million traded shares.

Blue chips declined 0.09% and banks 0.48%, while mid-caps gained 0.05%.

Of the 122 traded stocks, 47 gained, 58 declined and 17 were unchanged.

The biggest gainers among blue chips were CrediaBank (3.11%), EYDAP (2.14%), metals group ElvalHalcor (1.85%), Piraeus Port (1.63%) and toy retailer Jumbo (1.07%).
