A 48-year-old police officer was arrested Saturday in Thessaloniki after a former partner accused him of domestic violence, repeated rape, sexual assault, threats, verbal abuse and recording her without her consent.
The 51-year-old woman told authorities that the officer forced her into sexual acts four times in July using violence and without her consent.
She also alleged that he recorded her on video without her knowledge during their time living together and threatened and verbally abused her.
The officer was arrested by a domestic violence unit in western Thessaloniki.
A case file was submitted to prosecutors, and the officer is expected to appear before a prosecutor.
