A 19-year-old youth has been arrested for attacking a 23-year-old youth with a knife after the latter questioned him about riding a two-wheeler at high speed in Saligramam on Monday.The victim, Samuel, 23, a resident of Vijaya Raghavapuram 3rd Street, works at a cremation ground.According to the police, Samuel was standing outside his house late on Monday when Saranraj, of Saligramam, allegedly rode past him at high speed. Samuel advised him to ride slowly and not to repeat such behaviour.The next morning, Saranraj allegedly confronted Samuel near a junction. The police said he picked an argument with Samuel, questioned his authority in the locality, and attacked him with a knife. He also issued a death threat and fled the spot.Samuel lodged a complaint with the police, who subsequently arrested Saranraj and recovered the knife used in the attack.
