Four young men, ages 17 to 22, were arrested in central Thessaloniki after police found them staying without authorization in a short-term rental apartment.
The group included a 17-year-old who had escaped from a juvenile detention facility, where he was being held until adulthood after being convicted of rape and a weapons offense.
Police found small quantities of cannabis and cocaine in the apartment and seized the drugs.
The four, all Greek nationals, face charges that include unlawful occupation of a residence and drug offenses, depending on their individual cases.
