Most of South Africa will experience fine and cool weather on Friday, with isolated showers along sections of the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal coast.

South Africa is set for a calmer weekend on August 15 and 16, with the South African Weather Service (SAWS) forecasting partly cloudy and cold to cool conditions across much of the country.

The outlook comes after a week of unsettled and severe weather in parts of the country, with SAWS indicating that conditions are expected to begin settling over the weekend.

According to SAWS, Saturday, August 15, and Sunday, August 16, will bring partly cloudy conditions and cold to cool temperatures across much of South Africa.

The weekend forecast suggests a notable change from the more disruptive weather experienced during the previous week, with conditions generally becoming calmer but colder.
