‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally with 1,000-foot-long national flag organised in A.P.’s Kadiri town

Hundreds of people participated in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally featuring 1,000-foot-long flag in Kadiri town, Sri Sathya Sai district, on Friday (August 14, 2026). District Collector A. Shyam Prasad and Kadiri MLA Kandikuntla Venkata Prasad jointly flagged off the rally from the Kadiri municipal office.The flag was carried through the town covering arterial junctions, including the municipal office and Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Circle, before culminating at the BR Ambedkar Circle. Students, teachers, officials, local leaders, and people participated in large numbers, raising slogans of “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.Addressing the gathering, the Collector said the national flag symbolised India’s sovereignty, sacrifice, and unity in diversity. He urged people to voluntarily hoist the Tricolour at their homes and business establishments as a mark of patriotism.After the rally, the Collector administered a pledge to the participants to uphold national unity, integrity, solidarity and service to the nation.
