The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally was organised in Puttaparthi on Thursday to promote patriotism, national unity and respect for the national flag. The rally, which was flagged off at Satyamma temple, concluded at the APSRTC bus stand. The event witnessed participation from officials, students and children.Sri Sathya Sai District Collector A. Shyam Prasad and Superintendent of Police (SP) S. Satish Kumar led the rally. Revenue Divisional Officer P. Suvarna, District Medical and Health Officer Fairoza Begum, and senior officials of various departments were present.Carrying the national flag, students and children raised slogans such as ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’.The Collector urged to the public to hoist the national flag at their homes and uphold its dignity.
