Visakhapatnam District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore has urged people to hoist the national flag at every house, commercial establishment and government office in the district from August 13 to 15 as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.He said that several programmes are being held from August 10 to 15 under the Andhra Pradesh government’s ‘Partners in Nation Building’ and ‘Ane Nenu’ campaigns to encourage public participation in nation-building activities.A mega plantation drive will be conducted across the district on August 14 with the cooperation of the Forest and Horticulture departments. Government buildings, bus and railway stations and major junctions will be illuminated on August 14 and 15.
