The heaviest traffic was recorded at Rhodes, Corfu, Thessaloniki, Hania and Kos airports.
Most passengers came from the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy, while there was a significant leap in passengers from Israel, which is now the seventh-highest country of travelers’ origin.
The regional airports also handled 957,500 domestic passengers.
