Fraport Greece, which manages 14 regional Greek airports, more than doubled its net profit, while achieving significant increases in total revenue, operating profit and passenger volume, according to data published by Frankfurt-based parent company Fraport AG.

Net profit in the first half of 2026 was €11.6 million, compared to €4.3 million during the same period of 2025, a rise of 169.8%. Total turnover was €203.3 million, up 7.1% on 2025 and EBITDA profit rose 10.2%, to €86.5 million, from €78.5 million.

Fraport AG notes the decisive impact Fraport Greece’s numbers on the group’s international results. Passenger volumne in the 14 airports rose 5.4%, to 13.65 million, of which 3.6 million in domestic flights (+5.8%) and 10.1 million (+5.3%) in international ones.

More than 40% of total passenger volume occurred in June, with airports in Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Hania, Corfu, Samos and Skiathos being especially full. At parent company level, Fraport AG turnover rose 4% to €2.07 billion, operating profit was up 3.8% to €582.3 million, but net profit, at €51.6 million, was lower.
