MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecast heavy rains over parts of Luzon on Monday, August 10, due to the southwest monsoon (habagat).

In its heavy rainfall outlook on 5 a.m. on Monday, Pagasa said the some areas will receive the following amounts of rain:
