Many areas in NCR, Laguna, Rizal under flood threat due to habagat

MANILA, Philippines—Flooding remains possible in several areas in Metro Manila, Laguna and Rizal as the southwest monsoon, or “habagat,” continues to bring moderate to heavy rains in Luzon and Visayas, the state weather bureau said on Sunday.

In its flood bulletin issued at 6 a.m., Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said heavy rains were recorded over the past 12 hours ending at 5 a.m.

Meanwhile, Pagasa said moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in the next 12 hours until 5 p.m.According to the weather bureau, here are the waterways that are still likely to be affected by floods:
