Habagat rains persist in Luzon; fair weather over rest of PH

MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to bring rains in parts of Luzon while the rest of the country will see improving weather conditions on Wednesday, according to the state weather bureau.

In the 5 a.m. weather forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said rains are forecast over the western section of the country.
