Floods ensue after heavy downpour in Metro Manila.

MANILA, Philippines — Several areas were flooded across the National Capital Region amid heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon (habagat) on Monday, August 10, according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

In an advisory on Monday morning, the MMDA said the following areas had reported floods as of 6:38 a.m.:
