A total of 233 combat engagements between Ukraine's Defense Forces and Russian troops were recorded on the frontline on August 6, with the fiercest fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook in its operational update as of 08:00 on August 7.
"Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike using a single missile, carried out 91 air strikes, dropping 308 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it deployed 10,621 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,176 attacks on populated areas and the positions of Ukrainian troops," the statement said.
Over the past day, Ukraine's Air Force, missile forces, and artillery struck two UAV command posts, six artillery systems, and 18 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
