A total of 226 combat engagements were recorded along the front line on Thursday, with the fiercest fighting taking place in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors, which together accounted for more than a quarter of all clashes.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the operational situation as of 22:00 on July 30 on Facebook.
"Since the beginning of the day, there have been 226 combat engagements. The aggressor carried out one missile strike using 74 missiles, launched 50 air strikes involving 181 guided aerial bombs, deployed 5,566 kamikaze drones, and conducted 2,268 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas," the statement said.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out one air strike, dropping three guided bombs, and shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 59 times, including three attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops launched 14 assaults near Starytsia, Zapadne, Kopanky, and toward Okhrimivka, Radkivka, and Khatnie.
