Russian forces launched 219 attacks against Ukrainian positions over the past day, with the heaviest fighting reported in the Sloviansk, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk sectors.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released the update as of 8:00 on Wednesday, July 22, Ukrinform reports.
"A total of 219 combat engagements were recorded over the past day," the General Staff said.
According to the report, Russian troops carried out two missile strikes, using three missiles, launched 92 airstrikes, and dropped 285 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 9,963 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,309 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 44 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
At the same time, Ukrainian missile forces and artillery struck three UAV command posts, three clusters of Russian personnel, two command posts, and three other important military targets.
