Ukraine’s Defense Forces recorded 249 combat engagements with Russian troops along the frontline over the past day, July 18, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook in an update as of 8:00 on July 19.
Russian forces launched one missile strike involving three missiles and carried out 99 air attacks, dropping 311 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces used 10,968 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,552 shelling attacks, including 43 strikes with multiple launch rocket systems.
Ukrainian aviation, missile units, and artillery struck one command post, five clusters of Russian personnel, seven UAV control points, and another important target.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, 11 combat engagements occurred; Russian forces conducted three airstrikes, dropped nine aerial bombs, and carried out 36 shelling attacks.
