A total of 259 combat engagements between Ukraine's Defense Forces and Russian invading troops were recorded along the frontline over the past day, July 1.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook in its operational update as of 08:00 on July 2.
Russian forces launched two missile strikes using two missiles and carried out 79 airstrikes, dropping 240 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 9,463 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,924 attacks, including 36 using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Ukraine's Air Force, missile troops, and artillery struck five clusters of Russian personnel and one enemy command post.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out 63 attacks, including six with MLRS.
