Over the past day, July 15, there were 279 combat engagements between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian forces on the front line.
According to Ukrinform, this was stated in a report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook regarding the situation as of 8:00 on July 16.
Russian forces carried out one missile strike, using four missiles, and conducted 88 air strikes, dropping 295 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian troops used 9,922 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,148 attacks on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including 42 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems.
Ukraine’s Air Force, missile forces, and artillery units struck one command post, eight clusters of Russian personnel, four UAV control points, and two other important enemy targets.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, there were 10 combat engagements with Russian forces. The enemy conducted two air strikes, dropping six aerial bombs, and carried out 61 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.
