A total of 273 combat engagements were recorded between Ukraine's Defense Forces and Russian troops over the past day, with the heaviest fighting taking place on the Pokrovsk axis, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 39 enemy assaults.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook in its operational update as of 08:00 on Friday, July 3.
Russian forces launched two missile strikes using 75 missiles and carried out 101 airstrikes, dropping 299 guided aerial bombs. They also deployed 10,168 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,149 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 46 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems.
Russian aircraft struck the areas of Hodunivka, Hirky, and Vilna Sloboda in the Sumy region.
