The Fathom, Ford's first vehicle on its Universal EV Platform, will begin taking preorders in early 2027 with deliveries later that year

Ford $F announced Thursday that its new midsize electric pickup truck will be called the Fathom and carry a starting price of $28,350 for the standard-range battery version. With destination and delivery charges of $1,595, the total starting price comes to $29,945, the company said.
Preorders for the five-passenger truck open in early 2027, with customer deliveries set to begin in fall 2027. Ford said it will not reveal the truck's appearance until preorders open.
