Since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have launched 51 attacks against the positions of Ukraine's Defense Forces, with the Kostiantynivka direction remaining the most intense area of fighting.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this in an operational update on Facebook as of 16:00.
“Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 51 times,” the post said.
The General Staff also reported ongoing artillery shelling of border areas. In the Sumy region, the settlements of Korenok, Sopych, Kucherivka, Ryzhivka, Bezsalivka, Potapivka, Neskuchne, Tovstodubove, Rohizne, Hutko-Ozhynka, and Hirky came under fire. In the Chernihiv region, the village of Zaliznyi Mist was shelled.
