Former All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Mrs. Abimbola Olajumoke Olawumi, has been taken away by unidentified persons in Abuja, less than two weeks after she accused Governor Biodun Oyebanji of orchestrating her arrest and using the police to persecute her over a legal challenge to the party's governorship primary.
The fresh allegation was made on Sunday evening by Olawumi's daughter, Ololade, who said her mother was taken from a hotel located within one of the military barracks in Asokoro, Abuja.
According to her, the former APC chieftain had relocated to the facility after armed men came to her residence last Wednesday, days after she was released from police custody.
"Around one hour ago, she was taken by persons unknown again. She was taken in Abuja," Ololade said.
