Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force on Tuesday again surrounded the Abuja residence of All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and 2026 Ekiti State governorship aspirant, Mrs. Abimbola Olajumoke Olawumi, days after her release from police custody following her controversial arrest and arraignment in Ekiti State.
Olawumi disclosed the development in a statement on Tuesday, saying the latest police action came despite her ongoing engagement with the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force over the circumstances surrounding her arrest.
"The police besieged my house again this morning.
"From the day I was released from the RRS custody on Thursday, it has been from one police command to the other.
