Olawumi gave her own account of the events surrounding the controversial arrest that has generated widespread public attention to SaharaReporters on Thursday.
All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Mrs. Abimbola Olajumoke Olawumi, has alleged that operatives of the Ekiti State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) forcefully arrested her outside the Supreme Court in Abuja and transported her to Ekiti State, where she was arraigned before a Magistrates’ Court.
Olawumi gave her own account of the events surrounding the controversial arrest that has generated widespread public attention to SaharaReporters on Thursday.
According to her, the incident occurred shortly after the final hearing of her suit against the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji and the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Supreme Court.
"The final hearing of my case against the Ekiti State Governor and the APC, took place yesterday at the Supreme Court," she said.
