BAGUIO CITY — City food regulators have confiscated nearly 260 kilograms of spoiled chicken from a meat shop at a Baguio City Public Market alley in response to a consumer complaint, according to the City Health Services Office (CHSO).
In a July 29 statement, CHSO said the operation stemmed from a report by a resident who claimed that chicken purchased from the establishment emited a foul odor even after it had been cooked.

An initial inspection conducted by the City Veterinary and Agriculture Office (CVAO), Public Order and Safety Division (POSD), and the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) led to the seizure of spoiled chicken meat.
