MANILA, Philippines — Content creators involved in a viral driving video have been summoned by the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the agency said on Friday.
According to the LTO, it issued show-cause orders (SCO) to the content creators who were identified as the drivers and registered owners of the vehicles involved in the content. Citing a video uploaded by “Minelya Pilyom” a car was seen crashing on purpose against another vehicle.

With this, the LTO ordered them to appear before the Intelligence and Investigation Division of the agency and submit beforehand a verified or sworn explanation on August 7, 2026. It noted that they must explain why they should not be administratively liable for Reckless Driving and Failure to Wear Seatbelt Device and why their driver’s licenses should not be suspended or revoked for being an Improper Person to Operate a Motor Vehicle.
