Four men accused of killing a Newark family of seven appear in court

Four men arrested for the alleged kidnapping, robbery and murder of seven Newark family members made a brief appearance in the KwaDukuza Magistrate's Court on Friday.

Bongumenzi Mpungose , 27, Linda Blessing Mthiyane, 28, Mthandeni Luyanda Mthiyane, 21, and Tempeli Michael Mchunu, 23, were arrested and charged with murder, kidnapping and robbery with aggravating circumstances.

Mpungose was also charged with rape.

Gonasagran Padayachee, Mariamma Appanah and Mooniamma Padayachee.
