Alan Monswamy with his wife Sandy, and their children Kraidon and Shamarie

Relatives of the Monswamy family are expected to return to the KwaDukuza Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday as proceedings continue against the men accused of the brutal murder of seven family members.

Family spokesperson Vim Pillay confirmed that relatives will be in court.

“The family is taking it one day at a time. They will definitely be in court on Tuesday,” he said.

The case has drawn widespread public attention since the arrests of three suspects, aged 21, 26, and 28, who appeared in court on April 28, just a week after the shocking discovery of the victims’ bodies. A fourth suspect is still being sought by police.
