Markus Bach has served as chargecloud CEO since August 2021. Before taking on the role, he oversaw the development of the company’s IT platform as Technical Director and co-founded chargecloud in 2016 together with Axel Lauterborn. Bach has been active in the e-mobility industry for more than a decade.

With the recently launched e-truck charging ecosystem by dragonize, chargecloud has further strengthened its position in the growing market for commercial vehicle charging infrastructure. German charging software provider chargecloud acts as the technology partner for the initiative and provides the chargecloud OS as the Charge Point Management System (CPMS) for the network. This enables logistics companies to share and jointly use depot charging points.
