A court in Wrocław has ordered the detention for three months of two suspects accused of assaulting a Ukrainian couple. Meanwhile, Polish law enforcement authorities are still searching for a third suspect.

Jakub Dłubacz, a spokesperson for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Wrocław, reported this in a statement to Ukrinform on Wednesday.

“The court fully took into account the prosecution’s arguments and imposed a pretrial detention of three months on both suspects,” Dłubacz said.

According to him, the defendants’ defense team will have one week to appeal this decision.

Dłubacz noted that the investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement officials are gathering evidence in the case.
