Two men detained over assault on Ukrainian couple in Wroclaw face up to five years in prison

The two men detained over the assault of a Ukrainian couple in the Polish city of Wroclaw on Sunday face up to five years in prison.

Jakub Dlubacz, spokesman for the Wroclaw District Prosecutor's Office, told this to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Today, the two detainees will be questioned at the Wroclaw-Psie Pole District Prosecutor's Office, where they will be formally charged and the prosecutor will decide on further action in the case. [...] They face up to five years in prison," Dlubacz said.

According to him, the detainees are charged with offences under Articles 158 (assault) and 119 (violence motivated by national intolerance) of the Polish Criminal Code. Both offences carry a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
