MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Robin Padilla thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for using more Filipino in his fifth State of the Nation Address (Sona), saying it made the President’s plans easier to understand.
“Maraming salamat sa ating pangulo at mas marami ang wikang Pilipino sa kanyang talumpati. Mas naintindihan namin mga hampaslupa ang kanyang mga nais isagawa sa loob ng natitira niyang termino (Thank you to our president for using more Filipino in his speech. We poor Filipinos were able to better understand what he intends to accomplish during the remainder of his term),” Padilla said in a Facebook post on Monday.
