ILOILO CITY – Iloilo Lone District Representative Julianne “Jamjam” Baronda expressed support for President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s 5th State of the Nation Address (Sona), giving the Chief Executive a “passing grade” while acknowledging the ongoing work required to uplift the lives of Filipinos.

In a statement released shortly after the President’s address, Baronda, known locally as the “People’s Lawmaker,” noted that while progress is evident, the work is far from over.

“Listening to the 5th State of the Nation Address of [Marcos] reinforces a clear truth: while significant progress has been made, our work for the Filipino people continues with even greater resolve,” Baronda stated.
