Naicker, of Moorton, who turned a century on Friday, is a great-grandmother of 22.
She celebrated with a party hosted by her family.
Naicker is an avid reader and enjoys spending her days praying for the sick and counselling youth and couples. She said helping others was her purpose in life, and that kept her young.
