Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is scheduled to meet on Tuesday evening at the U.S. Capitol with a bipartisan group of Senators who co-authored Senator Lindsey Graham's bill to impose sanctions on Russia and Iran.
According to an Ukrinform correspondent, participants in the meeting will include Democratic Senators Richard Blumenthal and Jeanne Shaheen, as well as Republican Senators Katie Britt, Roger Wicker and Jim Risch.
Following the meeting, at approximately 19:15 local time (2:15 Kyiv time), the Senators are expected to hold a press briefing.
Earlier in the day, Zelensky is scheduled to hold talks with U.S. President Donald Trump (around 16:30 Kyiv time) and meet with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
At noon, the Ukrainian President will also attend the national memorial ceremony honoring Senator Lindsey Graham.
