MANILA, Philippines — House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III tells President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. that the House of Representatives is ready to act on his legislative agenda, which was laid down during the chief executive’s State of the Nation Address (Sona).
In a statement on Monday, Dy said that the role of the House is to ensure that the legislative agenda mentioned in the president’s Sona will get support by having them pass through discussions.
“The Sona sets the direction of the administration. The role of the House is to ensure that the legislative agenda will be given support through a proper, thorough, and timely discussion of the proposals,” the House leader said.
