MANILA, Philippines – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. delivered his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 27.
A year after his promise to go after individuals linked to flood control corruption, Marcos announced that his cousin, former House speaker Martin Romualdez, would soon face cases in court. Romualdez has been implicated in the multi-billion flood control corruption scandal.
