There will be a number of roadworks.
The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility Directorate has announced planned roadworks in parts of Langeberg Ridge, Langeberg Village, Schoongezicht, Valmary Park, Vierlanden, Vygeboom, Wellway Park East, and Welgemoed.
The project is scheduled from Monday until November 12, running weekdays between 9am and 3:30pm, subject to weather and unforeseen delays.
Councillor Rob Quintas, the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, said: “These roadworks in Durbanville and Bellville are a vital investment in maintaining a safe, reliable and resilient road network.”
He said that carrying out regular maintenance is not only beneficial for enhancing driving quality and road safety, but it also serves to prolong the lifespan of the infrastructure while helping to prevent more expensive repairs down the line.
