The City of Cape Town will resurface more than 13km of roads across Bellville, Parow and Goodwood over the next four months, with work expected to be completed by the end of November.
The City of Cape Town's Urban Mobility Directorate is set to begin a major road resurfacing project in Bellville, Parow and Goodwood, with work covering just over 13km of roads over the next four months.
The project will see sections of 42 roads resurfaced, with completion anticipated by the end of November, provided there are no unforeseen delays.
According to the City, the project will also include maintenance of stormwater infrastructure, the installation and repair of kerbs, manholes and channels, the pruning of trees, and the repainting of road markings once resurfacing has been completed.
The City's Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas, said the project forms part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve Cape Town's road network.
