SAN ILDEFONSO, ILOCOS SUR, Philippines — Around 800 families in Batac City, Ilocos Norte, were affected by flooding caused by heavy rains from recent Typhoon Kiyapo (international name: Noul) and received emergency assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Sunday, July 26.

According to DSWD Field Office 1 , each affected family received one Family Food Pack, while 20 families temporarily staying in evacuation centers also received one Family Kit each for additional support.
