4,000 families affected by flooding in Maguindanao del Sur town

KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — At least 4,000 families from 10 villages in Sultan sa Barongis, Maguindanao del Sur have been affected by flooding that submerged the area since July 1.

Engr. Haris Ukay, head of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), identified the affected barangays as Angkayamat, Barurao, Darampua, Papakan, Tugal, Gadungan, Bulod, Tukanakuden, and Masulot.
