FOOD for Love Africa recently held its annual community service initiative, The Big Feed, at the TPA Primary School grounds, preparing 108 degs of vegetable breyani, equivalent to about 27,000 servings.
The 2026 edition was their largest and most demanding outreach to date and all the more special, as it coincided with Mandela Day.
The food was then distributed in and around Pietermaritzburg.
The organisation, spearheaded by a group of volunteers, works throughout the year to drive positive change in the community by assisting in combating hunger.
