Chefs with Compassion is calling on South Africans to help it surpass the milestone of serving 10 million meals to vulnerable communities through this year’s #67000litres Challenge ahead of Mandela Day.
The organisation has already served 9 552 780 meals since it was founded in 2020 and is encouraging home cooks, professional chefs, hotels, restaurants, catering companies, culinary schools, corporates and community organisations to take part in the annual campaign by cooking and sharing nutritious soup.

Last year, the initiative exceeded its target by producing 142 462 litres of soup for more than 500 000 vulnerable South Africans.
