President Cyril Ramaphosa will know within hours whether Parliament's impeachment committee must down tools.
The Western Cape High Court hands down judgment at 10am on Friday in his urgent application to interdict the section 89 committee probing the Phala Phala scandal.
Ramaphosa wants the committee's work suspended pending his separate review of the section 89 independent panel report, arguing the process could cause him irreparable harm while that challenge is pending.
The review has been fast-tracked and is set down for September 2 to 4.
